Convenient, free parking available at both sites.

We appreciate it is a stressful time for both clients and patients when visiting the practice, so our aim is to try to alleviate this as much as possible. We have spacious waiting rooms and try to keep to appointment times where possible (emergencies permitting), to ensure that you are not kept waiting for extended periods, and so that the waiting areas are never too busy or full at any one time.

Modern units are installed throughout the waiting and consulting areas at both branches. These help to regulate the temperature, allowing for a more comfortable visit for you and your pet.

We have large, sterile operating theatres at both branches for performing surgery, where only designated operating personnel may enter. Our surgical suites feature: heated operating tables and flooring, piped oxygen and scavenging systems, LED operating lights, and modern monitoring equipment such as multi-parameter machines.

Our updated computer system allows both our Dronfield and Killamarsh surgeries to be linked, allowing instant access to your clinical records at both sites.

We are one of the few Veterinary practices in the country who now routinely use Sevoflurane (as used in human paediatric surgery) to anaesthetise all species. It is the most up-to-date and safest anaesthetic agent on the market. This enables a smoother and more rapid induction and recovery - greatly reducing the anaesthetic time and ultimately reducing the risk to your pet.

We have digital processors on-site for both routine and dental x-rays, and specially designed floating top tables for our patients. One of the main advantages is that this allows us to take better quality radiographs at a fraction of the time of manual processing, ensuring rapid diagnosis and decreased general anaesthetic times - all without chemical waste. The x-rays can then be viewed on a computer screen, and images can be viewed in the consulting room so that the cases can be discussed with the owner. If necessary, the images can also be sent via email to a referral centre for further assessment.

Our state of the art analysers deliver powerful and immediate information on blood chemistries, haematology, electrolytes, endocrinology, blood gases, coagulation and urine. One single report provides an accurate and complete picture of your pet's health, so we can assess and explain our findings, point out abnormalities, discuss recommendations and confidently begin treatment.

Specifically installed for animals that need to stay with us, either as an out-patient, or as an unwell animal that requires hospitalisation; we have dedicated wards for them to stay in. We have separate hospital facilities for dogs, cats and exotics, which reduces anxiety levels caused by different species of animals mixing, and means a minimal stress environment to assist in the road to recovery of your pet. All of our wards are centrally heated and equipped with air extraction, dimmable lighting and even music. Each animal has their own private “kennel” which is clean, comfortable and big enough to be roomy, whilst allowing them the rest that they require.
