VETERINARY SURGEON POSITIONS

Full Time SA Vet Surgeon Required

 

We are a busy, RCVS accredited practice currently operating from two branches in Dronfield and Killamarsh. Due to recent growth, we are looking for an additional full time, permanent vet to join our friendly and supportive team. A part time role may be considered for the right applicant.

 

We offer an attractive package including on-site accommodation if required, paid VDS/RCVS/CPD fees and the opportunity to progress in specialised fields.

 

We are looking for:

  • An experienced vet who is comfortable with sole charge, or a new graduate who is looking for a well-supported internship position.
  • Primarily an SA vet, but who may also have an interest in exotics.
  • Someone who is willing to work between both branches during weekdays, and cover OOH as part of a rota.

We have an interesting caseload, ranging from routine surgery, orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, laser surgery and endoscopy. We also have modern, purpose built facilities including a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital x-ray and diagnostic equipment.

 

Salary is dependant on experience.

New Graduate Vet Surgeons Required for Internship

 

We are looking for three newly qualified, permanent vets to join our friendly and supportive team on a rolling rota basis.

 

We offer an attractive package including on-site accommodation if required, paid VDS/RCVS/CPD fees and the opportunity to progress in specialised fields.

 

We are looking for:

  • Candidates with exceptional communication skills who are looking to develop their core skill in a supportive independent practice environment.
  • Primarily SA vets, or someone who may also have an interest in exotics.
  • New graduates who are willing to work between both branches and cover OOH as part of a second on-call rota.

VETERINARY NURSE POSITIONS

Full Time RVN Required

We are looking for:

  • An experienced RVN who is comfortable with running nurse clinics, and proficient in laboratory work, inpatient care, anaesthetics and monitoring, and all other general nursing duties.
  • Someone who is willing to work between both branches during weekdays, and cover OOH and weekends as part of a rota.
  • An RVN who has an interest in small animal and exotic work.
  • Clinical coaching experience would be desirable.

 Salary circa £20,000 per annum.

Full Time Head Nurse Required

 

We are a busy, RCVS accredited training practice currently operating from two branches in Dronfield and Killamarsh. We are looking for a full time, permanent RVN to join our friendly and supportive team as a Head Nurse. You will oversee a nursing team of 8 staff members, and report directly to the Practice Director and Practice Manager. This role would suit someone who has previous clinical and people management experience within a veterinary practice.

We are looking for:

  • An RVN with proven experience of managing a team of people (ideally as Head Nurse or Deputy Head Nurse), as you will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of leading the nursing team.
  • Someone who is well versed in creating and overseeing nursing protocols, introducing change where required, and who can lead by example.
  • An RVN who is comfortable fitting into the clinical rota where necessary to run nurse clinics, and who is proficient in laboratory work, inpatient care, anaesthetics and monitoring, and all other general nursing duties.
  • Someone who is willing to work between both branches during weekdays, and cover OOH and weekends as part of a rota.
  • An RVN who has an interest in small animal and exotic work.
  • Clinical coaching experience would be desirable.

 Salary circa £23,000 per annum.
