Update regarding COVID-19

FACE TO FACE/WALK-IN ENQUIRIES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED

Please make all enquiries by telephone.

Our doors will be locked, as we can’t emphasise enough how important it is to wait outside or in your car when you arrive at the practice, whether this is for your pets urgent appointment or to collect medication.

On arrival, please make yourself known to reception either through the window or by phoning us. We will then call you in for your appointment, or handout medication/food to you.

Clients must use hand sanitiser or wash their hands on entering and leaving the practice.

If you are collecting medications, please pay over the phone beforehand.

We appreciate this is a very uncertain and worrying time for everyone right now. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can as a practice to keep you, our staff and your/our families safe. This is so we can continue to be available to provide care for your pets.

  • We have spaced urgent consultations out, to minimise contact and ensure we allow clients to practice social distancing and to thoroughly clean in between appointments
  • Staff are split between sites to avoid cross contamination
  • We are only carrying out emergency/urgent appointments and procedures.

We have made the decision to operate solely from the Dronfield practice as of next week (Monday 30th March). This means that after this weekend, our Killamarsh site will be CLOSED until further notice. Please make adequate provisions for medication and food before then, as you will be expected to contact and travel to Dronfield from Monday.

Our opening hours will also be changing temporarily from next week:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:30pm
Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm
Sunday CLOSED

We are still covering our own Out Of Hours service during this time.

Please be kind to us during this time. We are following guidance from the government and regulatory bodies, in order to keep everyone safe. We are putting ourselves at risk being at work, and will continue to do so because we are passionate about being there for your furry, feathered and scaled members of the family.

The team at Ark would like to thank you for your co-operation at this time.

Stay safe and remember to follow the health guidelines provided by the government to try and combat the spread of COVID-19.
